​We’re conveniently located on the Main Park Drive, at the public boat access- only one mile south of the Mississippi Headwaters in Itasca State Park. Click HERE for directions on Google Maps.

Absolutely! We’re located on a public boat and trail access, with ample trailer parking.

During the week, rental equipment is usually available on a walk in basis.

We DO NOT make reservations for specific time blocks, (for example 1pm-4pm). We only take reservations for FULL DAY rentals. Hourly rentals are first come first serve. If the equipment you've requested is not available you may be placed on a waiting list and you will need to wait at the store until the equipment requested becomes available.

Cancellations 24 hours or more in advance will be given store credit to Itasca Sports Inc. This credit can be used for rentals or retail store items and does not expire. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation will receive no refund or credit.

Yes! We sell night crawlers and tackle in our camp store.

We do not sell fishing licenses at the camp store. However, if you are a MN resident you do not need a fishing license to fish on Lake Itasca. If you are a non-resident you can purchase your fishing license online HERE.

We have a limited amount of pontoons available for animals. Please let us know when you make a reservation if you plan to bring your pet. Of course, you will be expected to clean up after your pet.

We also carry camping supplies, cold drinks, snacks, nightcrawlers, and tackle, with bike repairs available upon request.

Yes, you need to be at least 18 years old and have boating experience to rent a boat at Itasca Sports.
