Your perfect summer day at Itasca starts here! Whether you’re paddling the lake or cruising the trails, our rentals make it easy and fun for the whole family. Hourly rentals are available daily from 10 AM - 8 PM, Memorial Weekend through Labor Day, on a walk-in basis. Planning ahead? Reserve your full-day rental online and enjoy a smooth, stress-free day in the park. Interested in a 24-hour rental? Give us a call or stop by in-person and we'll be happy to help.
We’re open select weekends in May from 10 AM - 6 PM as we gear up for the season (with dates that may vary year to year). After Labor Day, enjoy 10 AM - 6 PM hours through September, with weekend hours continuing into October, including MEA weekend. Keep an eye on our social media for weather updates and season closing details.
Bikes
At Itasca Sports, we offer a variety of bike options to suit riders of all ages and abilities, including adult bikes such as step-through bikes, mountain bikes, and all-road bikes. Riding with the whole family? We have youth bikes sized just right for younger riders!
For an easier ride, try our electric assist bikes (e-bikes). These feature a battery-powered pedal assistance to make longer rides and hills easier. We also offer a selection of attachments and add-ons, including Weehoo single-seat child trailers, Burley double-seat child trailers, and Burley pet carriers, making it easy for families and even pets to join in on the adventure.

Motorized Boat Rentals
Itasca Sports rents pontoon boats, which are perfect for relaxing, cruising, fishing, and enjoying time on the lake with family and friends. We offer a variety of sizes and styles, including a 16, 20, and 24 foot pontoon, all with canopies. All boat rentals include life jackets. Some boats are pet friendly, please let us know in advance that you will be bringing a pet when booking your reservation.

- Motorized Boat rentals require a photo ID and all boat operators must be at least 18 years of age.
- Boat Operators born after June 30, 2004 must have a valid MN watercraft operator's permit.
- Starting July 1, 2026: Boat operators born after June 30, 2000 must have a valid MN watercraft operators’ permit.

Non-Motorized Boat Rentals
Itasca Sports has a wide variety of non-motorized watercraft available for rent, giving visitors plenty of ways to explore the lakes at their own pace. These options include canoes, single sit-on-top kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), paddle boats that can accommodate up to four people, and rowboats available on multiple lakes throughout the park. All non-motorized rentals include life jackets and anchors.

The canoe features two seats with additional space for gear, making it ideal for a relaxing paddle, fishing trip, or a quiet day exploring the shoreline.
